What data the website uses and why

When preparing an inquiry

You can enter your name, email, company (optional) and project description. The form uses this information in your browser to prepare a message. Completing the form or reviewing the message does not send it to WySofia.

When sending the email

If you choose to open your email, the message is passed to your email application. You decide whether to send it. Information you send to WySofia is used to handle your inquiry and discuss the requested project. Avoid including passwords or other information that is unnecessary to explain your inquiry.

When browsing

The website’s hosting processes technical request data, such as IP address, requested page and browser information, to serve pages and protect the service. This website does not include advertising or behavioural analytics tools.

Basis for processing

Requests for proposals or services are handled to take the precontractual steps you request. Other voluntary inquiries are processed with your consent to respond, which you can withdraw by contacting us. Website security and availability rely on the legitimate interest in protecting the service, limited to necessary technical data and respecting your rights. Inquiries are not used for advertising campaigns or automated decisions with legal effects.

Where information is stored

This website does not persistently store the form fields or maintain a database of inquiries. If you copy or download the message, that copy remains under your control. If you send it, the email is handled by the email services used by you and WySofia.

Retention periods

Inquiries that do not lead to a contractual relationship will be retained for up to 12 months after the last contact concerning the request. They will then be deleted, unless a legal obligation or claim justifies retaining the necessary data. If a service is contracted, contractual, accounting and tax documentation will be retained for the applicable statutory periods. Your theme preference remains until you change it or clear browser storage. Hosting logs follow the retention periods of the Vercel service plan.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel and email providers may process information outside Ecuador. Applicable transfers must have the safeguards required by Ecuadorian law; visiting this website does not itself authorise them. Technical data is processed under the provider’s terms. You can read its privacy policy.

Preferences and cookies

Your browser remembers your light or dark theme choice using local storage. You can remove that preference in its settings. The website does not install advertising or tracking cookies.

Questions and rights concerning your data

You can email info@wysofia.com to request information about your data or exercise access, rectification, updating, deletion, objection, portability, suspension and other rights available under applicable law. Explain your request and how we can contact you. We will handle the request free of charge within the applicable legal deadlines. Withdrawing consent does not affect prior lawful processing. If identity verification is needed, we will let you know what information is required.
